Queefer Sutherland, All Girl Long Form Improv!

We're all girls and we like to Improvise! Come check us out in NYC and we'll blow your socks away, for real. Then, we'll re-think the choice to blow away your socks and feel badly that we tampered with something that took you two whole minutes to do in the morning, and help you put your socks back on. Then, we'll drink, get angry, and pull those fucking socks right back off again! Fucker!

Queefer #3: Katie Cheek

Katherine Elizabeth Cheek was born on a amazing July day, sometime in the eighties, in Baltimore Maryland. When Katie decided to blow the nest in September of 2004, she moved to Brooklyn, New York and began studying Improv with Pratt Institute’s long form troupe Up Top Playerz, of which she is now President. Katie is currently working on getting her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing at Pratt Institute, and nievely thinks being a writer will pay the bills when she graduates. Katie has completed five levels of classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC, and has no plan of stopping in the next twenty years. Among other things, Katie enjoys nature walks, nature boy (a song by David Bowie), the A- train, the A-team, the movies Ghostbusters and Pink Flamingos, dancing of every and all kinds, Brooklyn, Fresco Taco on 8th avenue, 70s and 80s sitcoms, Dunkin’ Doughnuts coffee, and really cute baby animals. Katie also really wishes everyone would just shut the fuck up and love already!

Queefer #2: Brianna Hope Jacobson

It is with great pleasure that I introduce Brianna Hope Jacobson, the shortest member of Queefer Sutherland. Like Jamie, Brianna has also lived all over the place (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Indiana, the list continues...) but she calls Brooklyn home. When she was six, Brianna made her acting debut in a Shop-Rite commercial that never made it to air. Her famous line, "Hey mom, what's for dessert?" won her four Tony's and one free bottle of shredded parmesan cheese that she has yet to open. These days Brianna plays and studies at the UCB Theatre, and is looking to find a job in television. (She's interned at MTV2 and VH1, so hire her already!) As a recent graduate of the writing program at Pratt Institute, Brianna's work is being published in a collection called MORTIFIED. (Buy it.) Brianna likes clementines, pretending to be good at math, and most of all YOU! The one thing Brianna would never lick is the bottom of a blind New Yorker's cane, and that, my friend, is that.

Queefer #1, Jamie Wylie

Jamie Wylie officially debuted on a hot August morning in the summer of '82. After a long night of womb-partying, Jamie was totes ready to be born. She grew up all over the place, but considers Alexandria, Virginia home. She attended Skidmore College, where she actually worked really hard, recieving a degree in theatre (she thought about an English minor, but didn't really gel with the faculty), as well as doing improv with the Ad-Liberal Artists. After college she toured for a year with the National Players, where she enjoyed adding lines to "Antigone" and "Romeo and Juliet" because, hey, even Sophocles and Shakespeare could use some help now and then. She now lives in New York City and studies at the UCB, which she loves passionately even though everyone there intimidates her. If you see her, say hi first, because Jamie is actually quite shy.

We're Queeftastic! That's gross!

Hi everyone. We're Queefer Sutherland and we sure do really like long form improv. Did I mention that we're all ladies? Yeah, it's true. Ladies are cool. You like improv? Really? You should be our friend. Cause we have something in common. I bet you like cookies too, right? GEEZE! We do too! This is CRAZY! I think we're meant to be together.

So, now that we're friends, read our blog for more updates! We'll post about shows and love and ponies and tornados and improv and socks and laundry tricks and biomedical science and rocks and lizards and superheros. Bet you thought we didn't like super heros! You were wrong! We can't be friends anymore!

Just kidding. We're forgiving and you can have another chance.

Be our myspace friend too at www.myspace.com/queeferimprov
